Marvel Heroes Omega is playable once again NOW! FREE! There are a group of developers who have been developing the MHServerEmu which will allow anyone with the Marvel Heroes client (on Steam) to connect to the server emulator and play. You can play any hero along with team-ups and pets completely through the entire story and more.

While this is possible, you need to realize it’s a work in progress with a roadmap that targets the end of 2025 for completion of the project. This means that not everything works as it did yet but you can absolutely play through the game on a public server with other players. Amazing!

There are Discord servers supporting this project and people running public servers to make it easy for people to join and play with other players. Here are some links (discord invite links will expire in 7 days):

Isaac was clearly bullied. Now, he did not commit suicide because of that, he was more logical, but that does not change the fact that others bullied him. The show attempts to have a negative attitude to bullying, but it ultimately fails, since it makes the statement twice that ones suicide is only on him. That’s not the right way to treat bullying. This part of the episode is disgusting.

Wow, stumbled upon Mike Reitemeier’s review of Brotato, and I couldn’t agree more with the excitement around this game! The 20-wave survival concept and the intense Bullet Heaven action really caught my attention. Mike perfectly captured the challenge of balancing benefits and drawbacks, making each run a strategic journey.

Also, kudos for introducing me to the concept of ‘Brotato deeply read version. Interesting. I don’t understand the uproar against that pronoun scene because it was in line with the character. Rose, of course, would interject that. It fits fine.
But the “if you were a woman, you’d understand” or whatever it was that men aren’t as smart sexist stuff didn’t make in-world logic. It was jarring and awkward. The rest was on the nose, but it was enjoyable and entertaining, though I prefer subtle messages to being sledgehammered by any side, but sexism just didn’t fit. There were also other things that have possible mixed messaging. There should have been more of super-inteligence Rose, so not to suggest “half the mother” or “half as smart as the mother” in proximity to “non binary” (on the nose as stink) so to underline “still smarter than everyone else”.
My friends have identified other potential mixed messages, and we are quite a mixed bunch ourselves just to clarify.
I had no clue who wrote this or anything. I had fallen away from watching the doctor two doctors after tennant. Just lost interest. So i disagree that finding the sexist stuff jarring and nonsensical is merely because of who wrote it, when a lot of us assumed a whole team of writers.
All in all it was enjoyable, and i loved watching it at the same time with my friends who live across the globe from me. It was, however, surface level entertainment, not something to think about deeply. If you ask any questions, which, as a group of writers, we tend to do – the fun ends.
