FREE! There are a group of developers who have been developing the MHServerEmu which will allow anyone with the Marvel Heroes client (on Steam) to connect to the server emulator and play. You can play any hero along with team-ups and pets completely through the entire story and more.

While this is possible, you need to realize it’s a work in progress with a roadmap that targets the end of 2025 for completion of the project. This means that not everything works as it did yet but you can absolutely play through the game on a public server with other players. Amazing!

There are Discord servers supporting this project and people running public servers to make it easy for people to join and play with other players. Here are some links (discord invite links will expire in 7 days):
